The 25th Americana Jam raised $67,400 for Connections Individual and Family services. Since its inception, KNBT’s Americana Music Jam has raised about 1.5 million dollars for local charities.

“The Americana Music Jam is always such a fun day and working with all these great artists and the professionals at Gruene Hall is a huge reason," said the General Manager of Radio New Braunfels, Mattson Rainer. "We thank all the fans who came out to help us raise $67,400 for Connections. It’s the fans of this music that truly make it happen and we’re grateful for each and every one of them.

Connections started in 1981 as an organization to support at-risk youth in Comal County. Since, it has expanded to serve 17 counties with counseling, prevention programming, an emergency children's shelter and a youth transitions living program.

“Connections values its longstanding partnership with KNBT and was honored to be chosen as this year's beneficiary of the KNBT Americana Music Jam," said Chief Communications Officer of Connections Individual and Family Services Megan Dupree. "The proceeds will go towards the agency's transitional living home which provides guidance and support to youth exiting foster care.

They envision a community where every individual feels safe, is empowered to make positive life chance, and has the opportunity to lead a meaningful life.
