Today’s Tell Me Something Good Tuesday is about a successful golf tournament.

Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels held the first Ken Jacobs Memorial Classic Golf Tournament last week.

​

The tournament was named in honor of Ken Jacobs, a founding member of the New Braunfels branch who passed away last year.

​

With donations from local businesses and 84 golfers that participated, the fundraiser raised over $30,000. That exceeded their goal!

​

Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels helps those facing homelessness reach stability and independence, and with the fundraiser, they can now help 20 more families.

​

And due to their new shelter and programs, they have been able to serve 330% more families this year than previous years.
