National Teacher Day was established in 1953 and was expanded to an appreciation week in 1980!

Thank you to all Teachers, the work you do matters to our students and our communities.

And, Teacher Appreciation Week is not just about saying ‘Thank You,’ it’s about recognizing the vital role they have in shaping the future.
