PET OF THE WEEK 8/13

HENRY

This is Henry, a little dude with tons of personality! Henry came to the shelter at the end of June when a citizen brought him in from Comal County as a stray. Henry is having a bit of a hard time adapting to shelter life - he isn’t a fan of small spaces like temporary kennels, and he doesn’t seem that fond of children. But those are his only flaws! Young and only 35 pounds, this guy loves adventuring, and fits in well even in small apartments or homes. We think he is a heeler/corgi mix and just adorable because of it!

As always, HSNBA is pretty full, and we’re hoping to find a perfect home for Henry and tons of other dogs and cats. If you’re interested in adopting, fostering, volunteering, or just checking in on the homeless pets of your community, please check out HSNBA.org or call 830-629-5287. Henry is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed for common intestinal parasites, like all of our adoptees.

Did you know?

The HSNBA handles approximately 4,000 animals a year and at any given time cares for approximately 100 cats and 100 dogs. It takes quite a bit to run a shelter, so they rely heavily on donations. Find out more about how you can help here.
