PET OF THE WEEK 9/30
Cardi
Remember Peep from our feature on the 16th? Cardi is one of his siblings. Out of six puppies, four are still at the shelter looking for their next home: ASAP, Cardi, Peep, and SZA are all still at HSNBA after over 70 days!
Cardi has basically grown up at the shelter, and while she has adapted well in our environment, that isn’t the same as being at home. Cardi loves time outside of the kennel, playing with other dogs, walking, and seeking out human affection and attention as much as she can. Even if your home isn’t ready for a new four-legged family member, Cardi would love a short break from shelter life, or a nice walk through a local park on a doggy day out with an adopt me leash to get more (and maybe the right) eyes on her.
For more information on any of the pups above, or other adoptable dogs, cats, and other critters, please call 830-629-5287 or visit HSNBA.org. Cardi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed for common intestinal parasites.

Did you know?
The HSNBA handles approximately 4,000 animals a year and at any given time cares for approximately 100 cats and 100 dogs. It takes quite a bit to run a shelter, so they rely heavily on donations. Find out more about how you can help here.
