PET OF THE WEEK 5/21
D.B.
D.B. has come a long way since he first entered the shelter towards the end of April, and as we get close to a month in our care, we really want to help D.B. find the right home with our community of animal lovers like you. We think this little brown terrier-looking guy who weighs in at about 31 pounds is probably around a year old. Just like his story arc at the shelter, D.B. will probably be a little shy with you before he blooms into a wonderful dog. When we first met him he was shy and reserved and now he is a playgroup favorite showing other reserved dogs the ropes.
If you’re looking for a new dog or cat, please consider coming by for a visit. The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area is open Monday-Friday 10-5 and Saturdays 10-4. As always, you can call 830-629-5287 or visit HSNBA.org for more information, but if you ever just want to look around or hang out with the animals, please come on by! Thank you for helping make New Braunfels a more loving pet community!

Did you know?
The HSNBA handles approximately 4,000 animals a year and at any given time cares for approximately 100 cats and 100 dogs. It takes quite a bit to run a shelter, so they rely heavily on donations. Find out more about how you can help here.
