PET OF THE WEEK
THIS WEEK'S PET
Fred is a year-and-a-half-old lab mix that has been at the shelter for over 130 days! Fred came to HSNBA at the beginning of the year and has been looking for a home ever since. He doesn't seem to be a fan of cats, but has enjoyed playing with pretty much all of the dogs he has gotten to have time in the yards with. Fred is getting very frustrated in his kennel and has shown some barrier-reactive tendencies, but once he is out, he is back to his goofy, happy self.
Fred's adoption has been sponsored by a visitor who loved him a lot, please consider pawing it forward. Dogs adopted from HSNBA have age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, flea and tick treatments, have been fixed, and have been heartworm tested - Fred is negative. Did you know?
The HSNBA handles approximately 4,000 animals a year and at any given time cares for approximately 100 cats and 100 dogs. It takes quite a bit to run a shelter, so they rely heavily on donations. Find out more about how you can help here.
