PET OF THE WEEK 3/19

Cobb

Cobb was brought in by a citizen who found him and a friend 3 weeks ago near the end of February. Cobb behaves wonderfully and loves hanging out with other dogs during walks and playgroups. When it comes to being carefree and just enjoying the moment, this guy is beyond zen - some volunteers took him down to the park and he walked into a prickly pear. The volunteers were able to pull all of the needles except that one shelter staff had to help with by his mouth because he was so wiggly and happy to just have more attention.

Cobb is neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed for common intestinal parasites, weighs 50 pounds and seems to be a young adult. Cobb did test positive for heartworms and HSNBA is happy to help with treatment depending on a potential new home. For information on any of our wonderful potential new pets, please call 830-629-5287 or visit HSNBA.org

Did you know?

The HSNBA handles approximately 4,000 animals a year and at any given time cares for approximately 100 cats and 100 dogs. It takes quite a bit to run a shelter, so they rely heavily on donations. Find out more about how you can help here.
