A New Braunfels teen is headed to one of the biggest competitions in Texas!
After winning at the local level, Katy McLain is packing her bags and heading to Houston this Friday, earning her spot as a competitor in The Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant.
The New Braunfels High School Senior who is a feature twirler for The Unicorn Marching Band and Colorguard, was adopted at just 8-months old. Katy proudly uses her stage as a platform to help people understand the importance of adoption and says the skills she’s gaining through the process have lifelong benefits.
